This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 5th IEEE International Workshop on Modelling Autonomic Communications Environments, MACE 2010, held in Niagara Falls, Canada, in October 2010, as part of the 6th International Conference on Network and Service Management, CNSM 2010. The 10 full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 17 submissions.
